It is the fish farm located at the western end of the complex and is a closed type lagoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It consists of two main sections, the eastern and the western (Porto), which are not isolated from each other as they are connected by three 2m wide bridges. Communication with the sea is through four channels of which only one has a concrete fish trap. The main channel has three fish barriers. The boundary between Paleopotamos and the sea is formed by a natural sand island with a length of about 6.5 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The living and working facilities for the staff are located on an islet
